:I also prefer PNGs over JPG. Some people like to keep the images unedited from the source, and that that is perfectly okay. If there is nothing wrong with the JPG images themselves, then it is unnecessary to replace them with PNGs.

== Replacing PNG's with JPG's ==

I have some pages like [[Professor E. Gadd]] on my watchlist and I find it unusual that the PNG images of his artwork were being replaced by the JPG. Normally, wouldn't it be the case that the PNG images should be used because they have a clear background while the JPG images aren't because of their black background? :It wasn't the file types we were dealing with: it was the black backgrounds. We've decided that the black backgrounds should take precedence for the relevant character articles, because they are as seen in official media.

I found that when Luigi stands under running water, he does this little animation where he acts as if he was taking a shower. I thought it would make sense to put a screenshot of that here as I don't think it would make sense to even mention it anywhere else.
