I was just wondering if we could split this page into the one dedicated to the original Wii U title and the one dedicated to the Nintendo Switch port.

#Killer Moth I've got to agree with Waluigi Time and Starry Windy on this, if we do this then would we be doing the same for other games such as the Mario and Sonic series.

#Koopa con Carne Placed a supporting vote and removed it a split second later. I agree with Doc that the gallery related to the Switch version should be moved to the port's own page, but the proposal has to be rephrased with that goal in mind as the current amount of content won't suffice for a page of its own. (Per rule 14, you got about 5 hours left to do that from the moment I cast this vote.)

#Arend Given the confirmation that the proposer really does want to split this page into two articles (see comments; they liken it to how the game article was split into two), per all. The section for the Switch version is just too small to warrant its own page. Perhaps if the proposer adds in an option to move the Switch gallery section from this page to the respective game page before the end of December 23rd, I'll consider voting for that option as well (then again, Starry Windy makes a great point that we haven't done this to a variety of other multiplatform games like Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker).

:Why would it need a separate option? There not being enough now doesn't mean there won't be later. It's about the principle, not the bulk. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 21:15, December 17, 2022 (EST)

::Because the support option is solely for creating an entire page which I don't agree with (and Teh Other attempted that before I reverted for being undiscussed). I believe the "bulk" is often what determines this sort of thing anyway. 11:26, December 19, 2022 (EST)

:::Tell me where it says "create a new page." All I see is "split off," which is open-ended. My point about the bulk is that's what determines what is done with the images. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 13:22, December 19, 2022 (EST)
::::I think the proposer should answer that then. 13:31, December 19, 2022 (EST)
:::::It does say "split this page into the one dedicated to the original Wii U title and the one dedicated to the Nintendo Switch port", I think that's pretty clear that this would make two pages. -- 13:49, December 19, 2022 (EST)
::::::I read the "one" as "gallery," which would include a section gallery. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 21:46, December 19, 2022 (EST)
:::::::Considering Teh Other never even mentioned the word "gallery" and used "page" instead, I can easily see how someone else would interpret "one" as "(gallery) page" instead of just "gallery". 06:29, December 20, 2022 (EST)
@Koopa Con Carne: Talk page proposals actually have the amount of time to rewrite or delete the proposals doubled (6 days instead of 3), as stated in rule 14 as well, just like how a talk page proposal's duration is doubled compared to a regular proposal. So actually, as of writing this, Teh Other still has about 3 days left to rewrite the proposal. 06:20, December 20, 2022 (EST)
Just like how the page Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze was split into the page itself and Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze (Nintendo Switch) per proposal, I was wondering if we can split the gallery into two?
:So I guess that means one gallery page for the Wii U version, and one gallery page for the Switch version. 08:49, December 20, 2022 (EST)
