The '''Friend Space''' is a new space in ''[[Mario Party DS]]''. When any player stops on it, they can choose another character. When chosen, he/she and the chosen character both get five [[Coin]]s. In Tag Team mode, five coins are instead awarded to both teams. After the Last 5 Turns event, all Friend Spaces are changed into [[Duel Space]]s.
