The '''Forbidden Pop-Up Book''' is a major plot device of ''[[Yoshi Topsy-Turvy]]''. It is a book filled with spirits and is owned by the greatest spirit of all, [[Hongo]].

In the beginning of the game, Hongo uses his magic to seal [[Bowser]] and his armies, who were causing chaos at [[Yoshi's Island (place)|Yoshi Island]] at the book. However, Hongo fails and accidently seals the entire island in the book. In the Forbidden Pop-Up Book, [[Yoshi]], helped by the [[Yoshi Island Spirits]], goes on a quest to defeat [[Bowser]] and bring [[Yoshi's Island]] back to normal.
