The '''Floating Jump''' (sometimes known as the '''Floaty Jump''') is a move that allows characters to hover and move horizontally in midair during a [[jump]]. It is primarily used by [[Princess Peach]], who can employ either her own dress or [[Peach's Parasol|her parasol]] as an airfoil.

Mini Peach glows pink and floats without falling for a short period. The move ends once Mini Peach reaches another platform, or it times out and has her fall directly downward. This ability grants Mini Peach access to areas on the other side of large gaps that other [[Mini]]s cannot reach. 

The move needs to be executed in [[Level 6]] to access Mini Peach's assigned [[amiibo Door]] by removing a [[Long Spring]] that leads to it. The door leads to Mini Peach's set of levels, [[Balloon Float Castle]], where it makes extensive use of this ability.
