:By going frame-by-frame in [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=275vq1rLU3E this] video you can see that the Spinies never actually go in their shell as depicted in the image. Looking at the Spiny [https://www.spriters-resource.com/gamecube/pmttyd/sheet/93652/ sprite sheet], you can also see that the Spiny Shell is assembled from two separate sprites. I have added a description clarifying that to this file and the pages it appears in. {{User:LadySophie17/sig}} 17:10, December 29, 2024 (EST)

(See discussion above) This image is actually two sprites from the [https://www.spriters-resource.com/gamecube/pmttyd/sheet/93652/ Spiny sprite sheet], and a Spiny Shell in the manner depicted is never seen in-game. On one hand, it is interesting to showcase an aspect of a character's design that is not normally seen, as long as it is indicated as such. On the other hand, It's never technically ''meant'' to be seen this way and so we cannot know if it is accurate. Keeping it might also open up a can of worms regarding any other images of this type that could be uploaded.

#{{User|LadySophie17}} As much as I like the illustrative value of showing a Spiny Shell like this, I feel this is the safer option here.

#{{User|Sparks}} Per proposal.
#{{User|Camwoodstock}} Makes sense to us. Even in the worst-case scenario where we decide we want an image like this, re-uploading it is trivial.
