Pixel Perfect?[edit]

The Expansion Pak allows games that utilize it to go from 320x240 to 640x480, such as Donkey Kong 64. Is this image accurate compared to real N64 hardware? It seems as though our emulator experts are Hiccup (talk) and Megadardery (talk). --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 23:51, 4 February 2016 (EST)

It is missing the fog for one thing. Otherwise it seems good.--

OK, emulator glitch image. I'll add it to User talk:Wildgoosespeeder/QualityRequestTypes/sandbox. It needs to be accurately taken. The question was asked because of User:Wildgoosespeeder/sandbox. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 18:00, 25 May 2016 (EDT)
It's not actually a glitch image, it's an opted out option.--

It's a built-in option rather than an emulator controlled option/glitch? --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 18:24, 25 May 2016 (EDT)

According to http://forum.pj64-emu.com/showthread.php?t=3737&page=2 , DK64's native resolution is 640:237 . The game was not originally planned to use the Expansion Pak and only use it to fix (or more accurately, delay) a memory leak problem. --Glowsquid (talk) 18:48, 25 May 2016 (EDT)

That explains why the angrylion N64 graphics plug-in responded as such: --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 18:55, 25 May 2016 (EDT)
