Falcon Punch is an attack that Captain Falcon can use in both Super Smash Bros. games. It is performed by simply pressing the B Button. If the player uses this move, Captain Falcon will hold his arm back, charge it up, and then push forward, devastating anyone he hits. He will even say shout "Falcon PUNCH!" while using the attack. However, if Captain Falcon is attacked during the charging process, he will lose focus and he will cancel the attack. The attack is best used when the player is getting up from a previous blow. Interestingly, when Captain Falcon succeeds in the attack, the fire that appears around his hand takes on the shape of a falcon. The player can also hear a falcon squawk when doing this. Ganondorf's Warlock Punch works the same way as Falcon Punch. Kirby will be able to use this move if he uses Swallow on Captain Falcon; Kirby will even say "Falcon Punch" in his high, squeaky voice when using the attack.
