Emperor Augustus Septemberus Octoberus Koopa was the alter ego employed by King Koopa in The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! episode "The Great Gladiator Gig". As an emperor, King Koopa had taken control over Linguine Colosseum, and possibly the entire Linguine Empire. For the sake of convenience, this article will usually refer to the alter ego simply as Emperor Koopa.

History
Wanting to elimainate Mario and Luigi, King Koopa travelled to the Linguine Empire with Tryclyde, and somehow took control of Linguine Colosseum. After taking on the role of Emperor Augustus Septemberus Octoberus Koopa, King Koopa brainwashed Brutius Maximus Grouchimus into becoming his servant. Emperor Koopa then sent an invitation to Mario and Luigi, asking them to come to a benefit spaghetti dinner to help raise money for orphan Mushrooms.

Emperor Koopa and Tryclyde (now Tryclydius), spied on Mario and his friends as they approched Linguine Colosseum, excited over their arrival. Eventually, Brutius sent Mario and Luigi on a tour of the catacombs undeneath Linguine Colosseum, while he and several Koopa Troopas escorted Princess Toadstool and Toad to see the emperor, whom they were surprised to learn was actually King Koopa. Emperor Koopa opted to keep Princess Toadstool and Toad as his prisoners, and sent Brutimus to bring him Mario and Luigi.

Although Brutimus failed to capture Mario and Luigi, he did succeed in chasing them into the arena, where Emperor Koopa, Princess Toadstool, Toad, and a crowd of spectators were waiting. Knowing that the odds were highly against them, Emperor Koopa agreed to release Mario and Luigi if they defeated his champion, who was soon revealed to be Tryclydius.

Emperor Koopa happily watched as Tryclydius terrorized Mario and Luigi down in the arena. However, Mario and Luigi managed to defeated Tryclydius by getting his heads tangled up, which left Emperor Koopa in awe. Wanting revenge, Emperor Koopa ordered Brutius to relase the lions, contradicting his agreement to release Mario and Luigi if they defeated Tryclydius. However, Mario was able to convince the lions that since they were "Kings of the Beasts", that they should be eating an emperor for dinner rather than two measly plumbers.

Before Emperor Koopa could antagonize Princess Toadstool any further, Mario utilized a pitchfork to leap up to the platform where he had been seated, and kicked him into a column. The force of the impact created a chain reaction which led to part of the ceiling collapsing. Without thinking, Emperor Koopa leapt into arena, where the two lions proceeded to chase him out of the colosseum and through the Linguine Empire. While fleeing, Emperor Koopa vowed that Mario and Luigi hadn't seen the last of him.

Appearance
As Emperor Augustus Semptemberus Octoberus Koopa, King Koopa had donned a purple robe. On his head, he wore a yellow wreath in place of his usual crown. Around his neck he also wore a gold chain with a medalion.
