Albert Einstein or just Einstein, is a computer programmer who appears in The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! episode "9001: A Mario Odyssey".

Einstein is brilliant man, as he managed to invent the HAL 9001 computer and pizza machine for Mario and Luigi. Although he was confident that the HAL 9000 was near-perfect, he was unable to predict the dire consequences that would arise when he left the computers with the Mario Bros.

It was only when Einstein returned to Mario Brothers Plumbing that he discovered that HAL had malfunctioned, and was attempting to hypnotize the two plumbers. Einstein quickly unplugged all of HAL's cords, shutting the computer off and freeing Mario and Luigi.

Einstein tried to apologizes for everything that HAL had done, including the horrible pizzas (ie; popcorn pizza) that had been prepared. Mario could care less, as he intended on eating the bizarre pizzas anyways.
