The '''Drill''' is an item appearing in ''[[Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS]]'' / ''[[Super Smash Bros. for Wii U|Wii U]]'' and ''[[Super Smash Bros. Ultimate]]''. When used, the player fires the drill bit as a projectile. The drill flies across the screen, damaging and carrying any fighters that get caught in its path along with it to potentially off-screen and KO them. The projectile can only be used one time; after that, the weapon's base can be thrown at other fighters.
