The Dark Barribad is an enemy from Super Paper Mario in the Flopside Pit of 100 Trials. The Dark Barribad projects an impenetrable barrier around itself when Mario, Princess Peach, Bowser, or Luigi approach, and shoots rings of energy at them. Due to the floors in the Pit of 100 Trials being a part of the wall and the Dark Barribad being placed on one of the upper floors, the player can only enter the barrier by flipping if the Dark Barribad is on the ground, otherwise they will fall to the ground from higher in the room. Bowser's fire breath, Fleep, Thoreau and Barry are still able to defeat it.
The Dark Barribad is an enemy from Super Paper Mario. It can be found in the Flopside Pit of 100 Trials. It is a sub-species of Barribads. It appears similar to, and may even be related to the Yux species from Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. The Dark Barribad projects an impenetrable barrier around itself when Mario, Princess Peach, Bowser, or Luigi approach, and shoots rings of energy at them. However, by flipping to 3D, the player can go around the barrier, switch to 2D, and defeat it.

The Dark Barribad is tied with its regular counterpart as the rarest enemy in the game, with only one being found on Floor 73 of the Flopside Pit of 100 Trials.
Trivia
* Interestingly only one Dark Barribad appears in Super Paper Mario. It resides in the middle of room #73 in the Flopside Pit of 100 Trials.
