The '''Dark Barribad''' is an enemy from ''[[Super Paper Mario]]''. It can be found in the [[Flopside Pit of 100 Trials]]. It is a sub-species of [[Barribad]]s. It appears similar to, and may even be related to the [[Yux]] species from ''[[Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door]]''. The Dark Barribad projects an impenetrable barrier around itself when [[Mario]], [[Princess Peach]], [[Bowser]], or [[Luigi]] approach, and shoots rings of energy at them. However, by flipping to 3D, the player can go around the barrier, switch to 2D, and defeat it.

* Interestingly only one Dark Barribad appears in Super Paper Mario. It resides in the middle of room #73 in the [[Flopside Pit of 100 Trials]].
