Collect the Caps... is the sixth and final mission of Dire, Dire Docks in Super Mario 64. In Super Mario 64 DS, this mission is replaced with Into the Cage. This mission requires the use of both the Metal Cap and the Vanish Cap.

Layout
The player needs to make their way through the tunnel and to the boardwalk along the wall of the second area. The player needs to obtain the Vanish Cap from inside the blue ! Block followed by the Metal Cap from the green ! Block. After collecting both caps, the player needs to Long Jump into the water to close the distance between them and the cage, and then walk over to the cage on the right. The player needs to move quickly, however, as the caps' powers will only last for a short time.
