They resemble the prehistoric peoples of [[Earth]]. The Cave People are generally rather short and stubby in appearance, often having long hair. In addition, Cave People primarily speak typical caveman gibberish, though there are some that are able to speak intelligibly, albeit in incomplete sentences. Cave People are portrayed as somewhat unintelligent. The only notable Cave Person is [[Oogtar]], whose role is similar to that of [[Toad]] from ''[[The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!]]'' and ''[[The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3]]''; additionally, Oogtar and Toad share the same voice actor, [[John Stocker]].


In ''[[The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!]]'' episode "[[Quest for Pizza]]", [[Caveman Land]] was home to [[caveman|primitive Mushroom People]]. However, one human named [[Mugga]] coexists with them.
