| This category largely exists to separate concepts from within ''Mario'' media ([[:Category:Main|main]]) and real-life things ([[:Category:Real life|real world]]). Real world has [[:Category:People|people]]; main has [[:Category:Characters|characters]]. Real world has [[:Category:Places|places]]; main has [[:Category:Locations|locations]]. Real world has [[:Category:Special events|special events]]; main has [[:Category:Events|events]]. Real world has [[:Category:Television series|television series]]; main has [[:Category:Shows|shows]]. Real world has [[:Category:Companies|companies]]; main has [[:Category:Organizations|organizations]]/[[:Category:Businesses|businesses]]. [[:Category:Music|Music]] contains stuff from within ''Mario'' media while [[:Category:Live music|live music]] exists in real life and [[:Category:Albums|albums]] are bought in real life, hence their parent categories. Yeah you could merge it all into main, but then the distinction between the examples I listed becomes less clear.
