:A mini boss category could work, if it was handled far more tactfully than RPG Gamer has done it. An example of it working is the Paper Mario series, where the mini boss are signified by the music used, which is an official indicator that it's a mini boss. However, the handling of it is extremely haphazardous and it should stop right now before we have to undo everything that RPG Gamer has done. 21:23, 16 November 2016 (EST)

::It doesn't matter whether they're from a main series game or a spinoff. What matters is whether or not the game actually distinguishes between regular bosses and mini bosses. 22:33, 16 November 2016 (EST)
Here's what needs to be ditched:
* Mario and Luigi bosses: Series does not distinguish mini bosses, as already stated.
* Paper Mario series bosses that do not have generic mini boss music (ESPECIALLY Grodus. I cannot stress that one enough.)
** Glitz Pit fighters: The Armored Harriers are the only ones that count. Rawk Hawk is the champion and has a unique battle theme. The rest are neither bosses nor mini bosses; they're regular enemies.
Ones I have questions about:
* Bowser: When has Bowser ever been a legitimate mini boss? Bowser's been in a LOT of games, so I may be missing something.
* Big Boo: Pretty sure this doesn't count. If it does, which game(s)?
Anything I'm missing? 22:23, 22 November 2016 (EST)
