::::Are you referring to the Trophies now? They will probably say Snake's first appearance was Metal Gear. {{User:Pokemon DP/sig}}

:::::The Marioverse? That makes it sound like the Mario series is the main aspect of ''Smash Bros.''. As strange as this sounds, saying that it takes place in the Marioverse seems... selfish. The Smash Bros. series is a crossover of many different Nintendo series and 3rd party quests, so you are going to have to share. [[user:ElementGodX|ElementGodX]]

::::::I know this discussion is ancient, but hopefully, the higher-ups will read this. The series is referred to as "Metal Gear" in the Smash series. Look at this video of a SSBB Trophy gallery tour. The trophies are categorized by which series they are from and you can see the name of the series above the small images of trophies. Look:

::::::The name of the series are in Japanese, but for the Metal Gear trophy category (the one with Metal Gear RAY as a trophy), it says "メタルギア", which is translated in romaji as "Metaru Gia", which is how the Japanese say "Metal Gear". If it truly was "Metal Gear Solid", it would have said "メタルギアソリッド ("Metaru Gia Soriddo"). So, I think the "Metal Gear Solid Series" category name for this webpage should remove "Solid" from the title. [[user:ElementGodX|ElementGodX]]
