What about screenshots from remakes?

How should screenshots from remakes be categorised? For example, most Super Mario Bros. 3 screenshots are from the Super Mario All-Stars version. Should they be in the Super Mario All-Stars category, in the original game's category, in both, or even in a separate category (e.g. "Super Mario All-Stars (Super Mario Bros. 3)")? --Grandy02 17:15, 13 June 2010 (UTC)

I think I could create a category like "Super Mario All-Stars (Super Mario Bros. 3)" which is a subcategory of both Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario All-Stars Images. Hope this is okay. --Grandy02 15:45, 19 June 2010 (UTC)

License/image categories conflict

A big problem to having these categories in images is that we can't tell if an image is licensed or not from using Special:UncategorizedFiles. For example, if there's an image that has like "Category:X game Images"; and no licensed category, I cannot tell if the image is licensed properly due to the fact the image has at least one category entry to make it excluded from that special page. I have a solution - why not create a template that says "This is an image that came from the game [x]". Attach it with a category and it will tell us if there are images that don't have the template, but only the category by comparing...let's say "Category:Mario Kart images", and "Template:Mario Kart image" by using the "What links here" link in the toolbox. --RAP.pngRAP... 22:18, 13 June 2010 (UTC)

I don't know what about the other users, but whenever I noticed an unlicensed image while I added the game categories, I fixed the problem. In case of the template, okay, but I will not go through all the images again, use a bot instead. ;-) --Grandy02 08:06, 14 June 2010 (UTC)
