| | The definition of "Ice Creature" here seems pretty looses in comparison to say, :Category:Poisonous Creatures. We aren't classifying Snufit, Monty Mole, or Swoop as poisonous because they're found in the toxic maze of Hazy Maze Cave, why should we count Moneybag, Pompy, and many examples of penguins as Ice Creatures? They aren't made of ice, they don't utilize ice in any way, and many of them aren't even found around ice. The whole thing is a misnomer. It should solely refer to creatures made of ice, or that use ice to attack. This also applies to :Category:Fire Creatures in regards to fire. If this succeeds, the tenuously-included "creatures that live around ice" will be removed from here, and the same will go for the fiery counterpart (unless that requires a separate proposal). |

| Out of curiosity, do Snow Guys make the cut? They're not ice-based creatures themselves, but they throw snowballs to attack. 14:55, 24 August 2017 (EDT)

| :Yes, Snow Guys and Penguin Mario would both still count, since they utilize ice, and as such are intrinsically linked to ice, with the same going for Ice Bro. and Skowl. I consider that to be ice-based, while things like Bumpty only have the habitat, and therefore are not "ice creatures." I'm basing how I want this done off of how :Category:Electrical Creatures and :Category:Poisonous Creatures work (as well as the "Protoplasmic and slime-using enemies" on my projects page); they either are related by composition or by attack. Not by locale. Doc von Schmeltwick 16:24, 24 August 2017 (CT)

| ::Alright, if we're classifying the enemies based on the ices powers they use as well, I'll change my reason. I thought the creatures had to be made of ice, or at least have some relation to it like an actual penguin, but being based around ice or ice powers makes sense. 17:34, 24 August 2017 (EDT)

| :::Isn't the point of the proposal that merely being in the presence of ice does not automatically make something an "ice creature"? Besides being commonly seen next to ice, I can't think of how actual penguins relate to ice. 17:41, 24 August 2017 (EDT)
