A few concepts from the Animal Crossing Series have been used in the Mario series. They are mainly found in the Super Smash Bros. series.  Some of the items in the Animal Crossing games were made because of the Mario series.  Two of the shirts are Big Bro's Shirt (a red shirt with a red M)and the Li'l Bro's Shirt (a green shirt with a green L) a clear sign of Mario and Luigi.  Also a Big Bro's Hat and a Li'l Bro's Hat, thy both look exactly like Mario and Luigi's hats.  One of the types of paper is SMB3 Paper (Super Mario Bros. 3).
