The Card Roulette is what appears at the end of each level in Super Mario Bros. 3. They however don't appear in fortresses and castles. They replaced flagpoles from the game Super Mario Bros.. When Mario or Luigi hit the Card Roulette, it ends the level, and the game awards the points to the player.
Β
The are 3 cards in the Card Roulette. One is a Starman, one is a Fire Flower, and one is a Super Mushroom. The player is allowed to have 3 cards at a time. Certain combinations award the player 1-Ups. If the player gets 3 Stars, the player gets 5 1-Ups. If the player gets 3 Fire Flowers, the player gets 3 1-Ups. If the player gets 3 Super Mushrooms, the player gets 2 1-Ups. Any other combination would result in getting one 1-Up.
Β
Sometimes there are enemies that stay near the Card Roulette. If the player hits the Card Roulette while the enemy is still alive, it will result in the player earning more points.
