They also made a cameo appearance in ''Yoshi's Story'', which is almost always missed. When the "press start" screen is left alone for a couple of seconds, the story for the game will be told and while showing all the Yoshis on the island, one of them is a brown Yoshi. It is unknown why he wasn't included in the game, it's possible he could've been in the game at one point but was taken out for a bunch of reasons, unpopularity, time contraints, and it would've made the game even more easier if the player was given another life, though it is unknown why he couldn't have been unlocked like the [[Purple Yoshi]], who also appeared with all the Yoshis in the cutscene. | |||
