| In this battle, Donkey Kong hides in one of the five Warp Pipes at the top of the screen. He occasionally pokes his head out of one of the Warp Pipes very briefly, retreating before he can be hit by a Mini Mario. He then fully appears hanging upside down from a different Warp Pipe, at which point the player can shoot a Mini Mario at Donkey Kong to damage him. [[Fire Piranha Plant|Piranha Plant]]s appear from Warp Pipes that Donkey Kong is not currently occupying. Each Piranha Plant spits a [[fireball]] towards the Mini Mario cannon on the Touch Screen, then retreats back into its Warp Pipe. After Donkey Kong takes a hit, Piranha Plants will appear from all five Warp Pipes and spit several fireballs. If a Mini Mario touches a fireball or a Piranha Plant, it breaks. If all of the player's Mini Marios are destroyed, the [[Game Over|game is over]]. After Donkey Kong takes 6 hits from Mini Marios, he is defeated.
