| | A '''Bee'zerk''' is a berserk bee enemy from the [[Tree Zone]] in ''[[Super Mario Land 2]]'', found only in Area 4 of this zone and no where else in the game. When [[Mario]] enters their [[beehive]] home, the bees attack the intruder by slowly homing in on him and attempting to sting him. Strangely, Bee'zerks never attack vertically, only horizontally. They can be defeated by a [[Jump]] or a [[Fireball]]. [[Bee Larva]]e and [[Grubby|Grubbies]] are apparently young Bee'zerks and [[Fat Bee]]s are older Bee'zerks. There is also an undead version, called [[Skeleton Bee]]s. They slightly resemble [[Zinger]]s from the [[Donkey Kong (series)|''Donkey Kong'' series]]. Their sprite appears to have been recycled from another game, ''Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters'', where it was called a Busy Bee, flew more quickly, and would often circle its target to intimidate it. |
