Back Flips can be performed by Mario in Donkey Kong for the Game Boy. The player can do Back Flips by pressing gb while moving and pressing the gb into the opposite direction. Back Flips allow Mario to quickly reach higher platforms. They reach higher than High Jumps, but require movement to execute them, so they cannot be done on small platforms easily.
