Aside from ports from the [[Super Mario (franchise)|''Super Mario'' franchise]] and [[Donkey Kong (franchise)|''Donkey Kong'' franchise]], Atari, Inc. is also known for games such as ''{{wp|Pong}}''. Atari, Inc. became defunct in 1992; despite this, two successor companies under the {{wp|Atari}} brand name remained extant: {{wp|Atari Corporation}} and {{wp|Atari Games}}. A third company under the Atari brand name that used {{wp|Atari, Inc.
